Volunteer at Plantasia 2017
We still need volunteer support in several important areas for Plantasia 2017 and signing up as a volunteer is easier than ever. By clicking on the button to the left <------- you will be able to see each volunteer position, dates and times needed and the number of volunteers for each position.
The following positions are still very much in need of some wonderful volunteers:
SATURDAY APRIL 8 (needed both shifts):
Check-out Recorders: these very important roles are also some of the easiest as the main role of a recorder is to simply count up the number of plants customers have in their carts,
record that number on a check out form and send them on to pay!
Volunteers At Large: These eager and versatile volunteers can be placed in different areas as needed. All you need is some great energy and a positive attitude! (also need 2 for Fri. night)
Plant Holding Area: These organized and pleasant-minded volunteers keep a watch over the plants of customers and volunteers who would like to hold some while they shop for more!
PLANTASIA EVE APRIL 7
Plant loaders/wranglers: Have a strong back or a child or grandchild who wants to help out? We are in need of 5 energetic plant loaders to help take and load plants into cars for patrons.
Once registered you will receive a confirmation of your Plantasia volunteer position(s) and will even receive email reminders a few days in advance of your scheduled time. Any further questions can be addressed by our wonderful Volunteer Coordinators Andrea Whitten and Carol Poloski who will receive your questions and sign-ups through the online link.
