Join the Feminist Majority Foundation for the Walk for Equality. The Feminist Majority Foundation is fighting back against the attach on women's rights and pushing forward to put women and girls in the constitution.Without the Equal Rights Amendment, women and girls must fight for their rights on a state-by-state and law-by-law basis. This effort will help the work needed to secure girl's and women's equality in the U.S. Constitution. The ERA is needed more now than ever!

Los Angeles Women's Internationl Film Festival Opening Night Gala Screening of The Drowning

The 13th annual Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival will open Thursday, March 23 8pm at the LA Live Regal Cinemas in Downtown Los Angeles with a Gala screening of The Drowning, directed by Bette Gordon starring Julia Stiles, Josh Charles and Avan Jogia.
The film, based on the novel Border Crossing by Booker Prize-winner Pat Barker, is a psychological thriller that explores shifting identities as a psychiatrist faces the past, present and future.The screening is followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and a gala reception.The four-day festival continues through Sunday, March 26 with features, documentaries and shorts, as well as a series of panel discussions.

One of the missions of Women In Film is to capture and preserve the legacies of extraordinary women working in all areas of the film and television industries to preserve their unique history in the entertainment industry, as well as to serve as knowledge and inspiration for future generations of women.
The Legacy Series has documented the women and interviewed extraordinary, iconic women whose careers are rooted in the myths and legends of filmmaking. They formed unions and were blacklisted. They share inspirational stories of personal and professional triumphs with great humor and wit, fortitude and candor.
