Hello Old Donation! 
Many thanks to all of your patience and faithfulness this past Sunday when we had to relocate all services into the Gathering space due to lingering paint fumes in the church. Many of you still chose to join us in worship, and I thoroughly enjoyed each of the services. That being said, we will also hopefully have things back to normal soon.
Tonight, you don't want to miss our program. Rabbi Ellen, our "resident rabbi" and Fr. Bob will be co-teaching, taking us through the book of Deuteronomy through a Jewish perspective. They'll continue to discuss and emphasize themes we've been talking about over the past two weeks, and will focus on how the Jewish faith can enhance our understanding of the text. Please come at 6:00 for Holy Eucharist, 6:30 for supper, and 7:00 for the program.
On Saturday, we'll be having our next Family Fun event! Meet in Alfriend House at 10:30am for a short prayer service, and then the parents will head out and leave the kids to make the decisions... and the lunches. They'll decide (with supervision) what their parents will eat, will make the food and color the placemats and get everything set up and ready, and parents will eat what's put before them. It's going to be a great day! Please contact me with questions, and RSVP by tomorrow.
On Sunday, Fr. Fred will preach at 8:00, 9:15, and 10:30 services and Fr. Bob will be in the Gathering. Fr. Bob and Kipper will also be continuing the series on sacraments teaching in adult forum, this week focusing on the Eucharist. There will also be the video-discussion course offering in the library, led by Mary Poteet. And, at 2:30, you can go to St. Stephen's in Norfolk and join us in worshiping with the Mission of the Holy Spirit.
No shortage of activities this Lent! I know I'll see you around soon.
