Pat's journey will inspire you!

I won't go into all the details of my journey with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but my story began in November 1999, when I was diagnosed as a grade two (follicular mixed) NHL stage III. I did well until June 2004 when I developed bilateral pleural effusions.

Tandem Was A Huge Success  for  the nbmtLINK
Seen here, Cindy Burke, left and Peggy Burkhard, right at the booth

It was a great conference for us, with the chance to learn and meet so many new and wonderful supporters. We gave away books and coloring books! We shared updated program ideas and we made many new friends. Of course, we always love seeing old friends too.
Tandem 2018 will take place in Utah.

Milestone Stories Wanted!
We'll  kindly  send you a free book as a thank you.

The nbmtLINK is proud and excited to be celebrating this wonderful milestone in 2017. Do you have a short story about how the LINK has helped you in these past 25 years? We are all ears. Help us tell our story through your stories--how did we help you and yours? Survivors, caregivers and health care professionals are invited. Those who submit a short essay will receive a free book of their choice as a thank you. Please contact Peggy Burkhard at [email protected]. (50 to 100 words suggested.) Please send a photo too. We love to see and hear from you.

Your tax-deductible donations make our programs and new books possible. We thank you in advance for your generous contributions.
How do You Celebrate Your Transplant Anniversary?
Transplant survivors celebrate two birthdays each year, the day they were born and the day of their transplant.

We invite all survivors to celebrate by receiving a colorful card from the nbmtLINK to commemorate the day. If you would like to receive a card, please contact Cindy Burke at 800-546-5268 or email, [email protected].

Special thanks to the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), proud sponsors of this program.
