WASHINGTON COUNTY WANTS FEEDBACK ON HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

Looks for citizen feedback on hazard that impact you and our county

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (December 14, 2017) - The Washington County Board of County Commissioners the Division of Emergency Services would like to encourage its citizens to provide feedback in updating the 2017 Hazard Mitigation Plan.

As the Plan nears completion, the county would like to encourage citizens to get involved, review the draft plan and provide feedback. DES is interested in your thoughts as to any hazards that may be of importance to you and impact our county.

DES will be holding a public meeting to discuss winter storms and other weather-related hazards in Washington County and how risk can be reduced. The meeting will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the North Hagerstown High School auditorium located at 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland.
