Lakeshore Technical College (LTC): Please join us as we dedicate and celebrate the Grand Opening of the LTC Advanced Automotive Technology Center on Wednesday, March 29, on the Cleveland campus. A formal dedication will be held from 2:00-3:00pm and includes local guest speakers as well as Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. The Public Open House will be held from 3:30-6:00pm where a tour of the facilities will be available from LTC staff and faculty. The Chamber of Manitowoc County: Applications for The Chamber Ambassador Scholarship are due April 3! The scholarship is open to all Manitowoc County high school seniors employed by - or who have a parent or guardian employed by - a company, business or organization that is a Chamber member.  $1,000 scholarships are available for students pursuing a 4-year degree and $500 scholarships are available for students pursuing a 2-year degree. Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary will be hosting its 6th Annual Pasta Dinner fundraiser on Sunday, April 2, at The Gardens at Felician Village. Hamann Construction Co. is set to break ground in the spring on a 20,800-square-foot Ceco pre-engineered building for Manitowoc Tool & Manufacturing (MTM). Rotary Club of Two Rivers is providing an opportunity for you to learn the truth about drug abuse in the county from some of those who see it firsthand! The club will be hosting an educational session on March 21 at Two Rivers High School starting at 7:00pm. University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc: A grant from the Adam Steel Family Scholarship Fund of the Lakeshore Community Foundation, Inc. will provide scholarships to UW-Manitowoc nursing students. After completing their first two years at UW-Manitowoc, students then transfer to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the four-year program of their choice. Holy Family Memorial (HFM) is offering a program to help you become independent of tobacco. Through a five-week process, participants can receive help to quit using tobacco and live a new lifestyle. The class begins on Thursday, April 13, at 12:00pm in the Cooperstown Room at HFM Harbor Town Campus, 1650 S. 41st St., Manitowoc. Additional sessions will be held on April 20 and 27 and May 4 and 11 at the same location. The class fee is $100 and includes program materials. Cash or check payment is due at the first class.
