Reel in a Great Deal at the Friday Fish Dinner!

Join us for the ever-popular Fish Dinners held at St. Stephen's on Fridays during Lent.   Dinner is
served from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event, hosted by the Anoka Knights of Columbus, is held in the Faith Community Center. 

Adults are $8.00, children ages 4 to 12 are $4.00 and children age 3 and under are free.

Thank you to all who responded to the request for volunteers!  The fish dinners are a success due to the countless people who share their time.

Exploring and Understanding the Mass -
Final Session March 26

Would you like to understand the Mass more clearly? During March we will have the opportunity to explore and understand the Mass. These sessions are for people of all ages and levels of understanding.  If you are interested in truly understanding and fully participating in the Sacred Liturgy of the Mass, come and join us in The Refuge March 26 following 10:30 a.m. Mass.  
 
Join Us for Faith in Modern Christian Music

All are invited to participate in a deeper faith experience that focuses on the JOY and RICHNESS of our faith through study sessions using today's top Christian Music selections. Each session includes two songs that we'll study, grow from and celebrate. 

We meet Wednesday evenings 6:15-7:30 p.m. when Faith Formation programming is in session.

Join St. Stephen's Triduum Choir

St. Stephen's will sponsor its ninth Triduum Choir this year. The Triduum Choir will lead music for Holy Thursday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m., Good Friday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m., and the Easter Vigil, April 15 at 8:00 p.m.
Attendance is required at two rehearsals. All Triduum Choir rehearsals will take place in the St. Cecilia Room. The rehearsal dates and times are  Wednesdays, March 29, April 5 and 12, 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Ham Bingo is April 1 
(No fooling!)

The Knights of Columbus are hosting Ham Bingo Saturday, April 1, 6:30-10:00 p.m. in the Faith Community Center. Bingo cards are 25 cents each.  Play for opportunities to win gift cards to purchase hams.  Refreshments will also be available for purchase.  Free drawing for bone-in half hams at 10:00 p.m. Must be present to win.
Parish Mission with Bishop Andrew Cozzens Coming Soon!
 
All are invited to participate in our parish mission with Bishop Cozzens as our presenter April 2 and 3. 

Sunday, April 2: 
  • A presentation by Bishop Cozzens will be held in the FCC from 9:35-10:15 a.m.  The focus will be Growing in Faith through Prayer.
  • Mass celebration at 10:30 a.m.
  • Spanish Mass celebration at
    12:30 p.m. 
  • Spanish-language presentation at 2:00 p.m. in the FCC.
  • The Growing in Faith through Prayer presentation will be repeated at4:45 p.m. in the FCC. 

Monday, April 3: 

  • Bishop Cozzens will do a presentation from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  The focus will be Growing in Faith through Struggle.
  • Hospitality following the presentation.

Spring Bake Sale is April 8-9

Mark your calendars for the upcoming parish bake sale hosted by St. Stephen's Youth Ministries (SSYM).  All parishioners are invited to help make the sale a HUGE success by donating yummy homemade treats to the sale. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Summer 2017 mission trips to Oklahoma City and Red Lake Indian Reservation.
