As our season progresses from Fall to Winter we find ourselves lucky enough to live in New Jersey, where we can truly witness the magic of Mother Nature. The colorful leaves of fall have now vanished exposing beautiful plant structures that include unique bark and fascinating branching habits. We also have red, purple, orange and yellow fruits clustered on the ends of many of our plants, waiting to deliver a tasty treat to the lucky bird which may stop by to feast. Many perennial flowers hang on, stubbornly providing even more food for the birds as well as seed for next years crop.

I invite you to take some quiet time for yourself to go out and enjoy your garden, whether it is large or small. Take a moment to look around and note  the branching habit of the trees and the unique patterns of the bark, beautifully back-lit with the winter skies showcasing the back bone of the plant. Notice how the fruits and flowers flow in the winter wind, providing both movement and structure. Take a minute to breathe and then to smile. I promise you it will be worth it!

Recently I've had the opportunity to speak with many of you in person and it has been really fun (I understand I could use a more professionally sounding word, but fun best describes it!). Together we have put 2014 under our belt and I am really happy that I had the chance to provide our services to all of you. I feel incredibly blessed knowing that we get to work with such great people at their beautiful homes, so once again I say "Thank you".
