A workshop for language and employment service providers working with newcomers in Hamilton
In 2014, the Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) offered a workshop that provided opportunities for service providers to explore ways to work together and meet newcomer needs. Over the past year, Hamilton has received an influx of Syrian newcomers. As this population moves on to the next phase of their settlement process, let's take a moment to reflect on what has been accomplished and consider what lies ahead.
The Mayor's Table for Syrian Newcomers in partnership with HIPC invites all front line workers from language and employment service providers to join a half-day workshop to explore new ways of working together.
