Hudson Valley Hospital is hosting an informative presentation "Facts about Colon Health and Colorectal Cancer", Thursday, March 23rd from 10am - 1pm in the Main Lobby.  No registration necessary.  They will review warning signs, symptoms, prevention diet & nutrition and treatment options plus much more.

Robert Bonvento returns to his work onstage at the Tarrytown Music Hall with"Aging - a Bad Rap" a one-man show that reflects on the lives of 8 people ranging in age from 6 to 103 years old.  "Aging a Bad Rap" melds the spoken word together with music, dance, photography and videography. It is a show about the perceptions and realities of growing older.  All proceeds from this benefit performance will go to Hope's Door a non-profit organization in Pleasantville.  Performance is Sunday, March 26th @2pm.  Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.  Order tickets online at tickets.tarrytownmusichall.org/agingbadrap2017  or call the theater at 877-840-0457

Also from the Ossining Arts Council - to commemorate the OPENING of the new Cedar Lane Arts Center (CLAC) - all Artists are invited to participate in an Inaugural Exhibition opening on 
April 21.  The Cedar Lane Arts Center (formerly known as Shine House) has been beautifully renovated to serve as another asset to the burgeoning art scene in Ossining.  The new arts center is located in Cedar Lane Park on Cedar Lane in Ossining adjacent to the Ossining Organic Community Garden.  The theme for the show is The Natural Environment - the natural   environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally. The term is most often applied to the Earth or some part of Earth.   Please contact OAC for additional information.
Community News.....  

T he Town of Ossining is seeking applications for a
Part-Time Intermediate Clerk in the Town Highway Department. This is a Civil Service position for a 17.5 hour work week.   Applicants must possess a high school or equivalency diploma; office experience is preferred.
