SNOW BREAK IN WASHINGTON D.C.
What started off as a sunny spring break in Washington D.C. for Clear Creek ISD 5th grade students quickly turned into a winter break when the city was hit with a blizzard during their field trip. However, thanks to the parent sponsors, students still enjoyed touring the nation's capital and playing in the snow, some for the first time, for this annual trip elementary campuses offer.

LYONDELLBASELL CAREER DAY AT CREEK
Representatives from LyondellBasell and Austin Industrial visited with students at Clear Creek High School to  introduce the various trades and engineering disciplines that are employed by the petrochemical industry. The students were able to participate in a hands-on welding demo, a scaffolding demo, an instrument control loop demo and a centrifugal pump cut-away demo. Clear Creek  also received an estimated $7,000 in supplies and equipment which was donated by LyondellBasell and Vallen to the Career and Technical Education program. Clear Creek ISD is thankful for the experience and generosity of our community partrons!
WESTBROOK WINS FOR ONE-ACT PLAY
Westbrook Intermediate theater students won 1st place at the 20th annual Bay Area Junior High UIL One-Act Play District Contest for their performance of "The Girl in the Mirror."

WOLVERINE COLOR GUARD TAKES 1ST PLACE
The Clear Brook High School color guard recently placed 1st at the Texas Color Guard Circuit Competition at Klein Forest High School.
