This past Friday, March 31st, our wonderful PTSO celebrated students during all lunch periods that made the 3rd quarter All A and A/B honor roll. Thanks to Ms. Baker and Ms. Ishmael for working the PTSO table!

Our boys basketball team recognized at the Florence City Council meeting this past Tuesday, March 28th for being the state runner-up. City Council declared March 28th Cooper HS Boys Basketball day!

ILP Scholarship Nights

The Boone County School District will be offering two opportunities for seniors to receive assistance with searching for scholarships in the ILP (Individual Learning Plan). This program has a database of scholarships that are often overlooked by seniors when searching for money for college.

During this 3 hour session, you will learn how to search for scholarships in the ILP. The remaining time will be spent actually applying for the scholarships.

At least one College and Career Readiness Coach will be available to offer assistance and answer questions.

Getting scholarships involves being proactive, being persistent, and applying for more than the ordinary person. Do not delay in signing up because space is limited.

Students should see our College and Career Coach, Dr. Jennifer Warford, if they do not know their ILP login. Students will need this during the session!

The following two sessions will be held at Boone County High School:

Monday, April 24th from 3-6 and

Tuesday, April 25th from 5-8.

To reserve your spot, please send your name, school, and date of the session you would like to attend to Ms. Pam Hirn .

Cap & Gown Delivery

Parents of seniors: Graduate Services will be on campus this Thursday, April 7th during all lunch periods (11:00-12:30 p.m.) to deliver cap, gown and tassle ,as well as, any additional items you may have ordered. If there is an outstanding balance, make checks payable to Graduate Services.

Our PTSO is offering our Class of 2017 a Cooper Graduation lawn sign for $15!

Yard Sign pick-up is May 3, 2017 in the cafeteria, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Any student that has purchased a class ring through Herff Jones not only this year, but in prior years and needs any adjustments, be sure to stop by the Herff Jones table during all lunch periods this Friday, April 7th.
