In our bathroom at our condominium is a limited edition print of my favorite "drive in" during my teenage years.  Still open today, they serve the best burgers imaginable.  After every school event I would make my way down to Edd's for a chili cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink.  All the kids gathered there.

I didn't think of it much then, but every morning as I shave I see on the painting the little side window.  You see, I could order at the front window, but those of another color would have to use the side window.  I know we have problems today, but we have come a long way during our lifetimes to make this country more open and just.  The question is what can we do for people now to make this a more just and fair world for those who are still excluded?

PRAYER: "Loving God, help me to be all you would have me to be, in Jesus' name.  Amen."
