Get to Know Your Committee Members:
We began introducing our new Zone 5 Committee Members in January. They are already working hard for the zone. Take a minute to get to know some more of them:

Roxane Durant
Roxane, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is the founder and executive director of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, based in Cleveland. She has been involved with the sport since she was a junior and has a background in teaching/training but focused on horse show and event management for the past 20 years. Her goal as a committee member is to connect IEA to USHJA wherever possible and be a proud representative of the zone. Outside the sport she is obsessed with golf and also enjoys tennis. She said she has already had dinner with the equestrian she would choose, Melanie Smith Taylor, who was her all-time favorite as a kid.

Lisa Goldman
Lisa, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, has ridden her whole life and became a professional after graduating college. She rides and competes around the country and runs a boarding and training facility, Red Coat Farm, with her mother in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Her goal as a committee member is to be more involved in the industry. Outside the sport she enjoys playing board games and arts and crafts.
