This is a brief and compelling sentence about why you should read this newsletter.
it's awesome.

Hello CTAs,

There's a whole lotta shaking going on in Sonoma County as visitors continue to arrive and are greeted with a warm handshake and welcome from each of you. We made the national news for our wet winter. My daughter Bonnie even made the NBC nightly news for the flood at my river home.  I was in Costa Rica at the time (drying out) and my Facebook and phone were flooded with messages from friends who watched the news from Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida, Los Angeles, Texas, Colorado and more.

The skies parted just in time for a beautiful 25th Anniversary of Winter WINEland, our tasting rooms and hotels rode out the economic storm, and our visitor numbers are projected to climb to 8 million in 2017.

Fifth Anniversary and the Big 2,000
This year is a BIG one for the Sonoma County CTA program.  On Aug. 31, we will celebrate our fifth anniversary and in one of the upcoming spring certification classes we will certify our 2,000 ambassador.

Michelle Lacy, Social Media Manager
Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau
"Thank you for a wonderful CTA class last week! I really enjoyed meeting you and learning more about Sonoma County. I think I could teach a class on Sonoma Valley and I thought I knew about most of the county but, I really learned a lot in this process. You have inspired me to take a road trip somewhere I've never been in the county at least once a month. I think this class is very valuable and hope more people in our industry take advantage of this opportunity. You rock!"

Jan Schultz, Marketing Team
Art Trails
Thank you so much for your brainstorming and terrific assistance creating the wildly successful CTA- Art Trails preview reception. Many Art Trails artists not only attended the event, but proactively commented on what a great event it was. I personally enjoyed meeting all of the CTAs and heard from many of them how they too enjoyed the reception.  What a win-win! It was a very successful Art Trails year and we cannot help but think that the CTAs recommending the Art Trails was a strong contributor to this success!. On behalf of the 173 Art trails artists and Art Trails Program THANK YOU for your fabulous support, encouragement and assistance!
