We ask that students are well rested and that they eat a substantial breakfast before coming to school.  Not only do IOWA test results highlight how our students perform nationally, IOWA test scores are an invaluable resource when evaluating student placement, and they provide data that is utilized to identify areas of weakness throughout our curriculum.  Student test results will be sent home in May; any questions regarding IOWA testing may be directed to Mrs. Kathy Hand in the Studies Office at   [email protected] or 717-846-8871 x213.
SAT Warm-up
The PSAT 10 will take place on Saturday, April 8, at York Catholic beginning at 7:30 AM.  The PSAT 10 is a three-hour exam, and scores from this test are not reported. The PSAT 10 is for practice only.  All rising juniors will take the PSAT in October 2017, and we encourage all juniors to take the SAT in the spring of 2018.  Any questions regarding standardized testing may be directed to Mrs. Eva Hess in Guidance at [email protected] or 717-846-8871 x232.

Inclement Weather
During inclement weather that would cause a school closing or delay of schedule, York Catholic will call/text/email you through our One Call Now Emergency Notification system.  Other modes of notification include WSBA 910-AM, WGAL TV-8, and the YC website.  Students from individual school districts are automatically excused if their district closes and does not provide transportation to YCHS.  The exceptions to this are Southern and Southeastern.  These students follow York Catholic's delay and closing schedule.
