8th Annual Mother's Day Brunch!

We are doing brunch out at the Vineyard this year for one last Hurrah! 

Sunday May 15th, 11AM-2PM.

We will be doing a very similar format as years past, so watch Facebook and our website for menu and details!

$24.99/person, $12.99 for kiddos age 3-10.  Reservations are required so give Nick a call/text to save your spot!

Road Construction     ...(again)
It turns out, the Department of Roads is stalking us... 

There will be road construction all over Central City... all summer long... 

Highway 14 from the North is clear all the way into town.

Highway 14 from the South will have the worst detour, but the road isn't closed the entire stretch. So - here's how to maneuver like a local.

First - Blow right through the road closed sign - you should be used to that after last summer out here.
Second - Hang a right (East) on 28th Street between the High School and the Veterans Memorial.
Third - Take the 1st left (North) onto 15th Ave. Its residential, so feel free to house hunt here, but please drive cautiously. You will stay on 15th ave until you reach Highway 30.
Lastly - Take a left (West) onto Highway 30, then right (North) onto Highway 14, and you're back on your way to our little Oasis!

We have a Cardinal at the winery that is intent on attacking my front door.  Very persistent he is.
Vineyard operations are hot and heavy right now.  Spreading lime today.  Spreading compost tomorrow.  Its a real treat to work in the vineyard the week following that project.  Lots and lots of pruning,  fixing broken wires, and tying up vines.  Both the LaCosse and Brianna are getting re-trellised to go on a single high wire instead of the VSP trellising that you see at the winery.  We are reworking some of our white wine grapes to get us closer to being able to get more mechanized in the vineyard.   
Contractors are working hard at the building in town.  Framing is all but complete.  Drywall is being hung.  Electricians are electricaning, plumbers plumbing and insulators insulating.  Final design decisions are be made daily.  
We have finally figured out our exterior sign.  At this point we are shooting for the first of June for an opening date.  We will see.

USDA Choice - Certified Angus Beef New York Strip steaks cooked to perfection with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh sautéed vegetables, mixed greens salad, bread, & dessert. $21.99
 
Apr 15th: Chicken Parmesan
Tonight we prepare a juicy breaded chicken breast over a bed of spaghetti, and made-from-scratch tomato sauce. We top it with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Served with sautéed veggies and garlic bread and dessert. $15.99
 
Apr 21st: Filet Mignon Steak Night
We take a Certified Angus Beef tenderloin, hand carve each steak, cook it to perfection and serve it alongside potatoes, veggie, bread, salad, & dessert.  You won't want to miss  it. $21.99
 
Apr 22nd: New York Strip Steaks
