PTA Amity Fund Drive:
The PTA is pleased to announce that we will be requesting not just 4, but 6 total Amity Interns for next year! If we are approved for 6 Amities, this will expand capacity for continued Spanish language support for all grades.

With this increase in Amities, there will also be an additional need of $20,000 to fund the additional Amity costs. The PTA has been holding an Amity Fund Drive during the entire month of March.
We encourage all families to donate what they are able to, as ALL Puesta del Sol students will benefit from this change.

Please go to our PTA Fundraising Page prior to the end of March in order to donate directly towards supporting this program.

2017-18 PTA Executive Board Candidate Open House
Tuesday, 3/28 from 9:30am - 11:30am

It's that time of year, when the PTA Nominating Committee seeks out candidates for next year's PTA Executive Board. Have you ever thought maybe you'd like to be more involved at the school? Do you have a few hours a week (give or take) to contribute towards maximizing learning and enjoyment for students at Puesta del Sol?

volunteer_group_ngo.jpg If you'd like to learn more, we are holding an Open House this upcoming Tuesday which would give anyone who is interested a chance to meet current Executive Board Members, chat about the positions and what it is like to be on the Board, and help you determine which positions might be a good fit for your talents and skills.

If you would like to learn more about the Open House, are interested in finding out more about the PTA Executive Board positions but are not able to attend the Open House, or want to connect with someone on the Nominating Committee, please email nominations@puestadelsolpta.org.

Given that there are 136 ISA schools in the U.S. and Canada, it is a tremendous honor for us! This award reflects the exceptional work of our students and teachers, as well as the outstanding support from Puesta del Sol families, the PTA, school administration and support staff and the district. This May, school representatives will be attending an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. hosted by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain.
