CONGREGATIONAL ROOTS
One of the things I love most about my work is worshiping with congregations around our presbytery. Every congregation has its own personality and it has been a wonderful way for me to explore who we are independently as well as who we are together. I grew up attending Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview, Minnesota, and today I hopped online to check out their website. As it happens, they are deep into HYMN MADNESS, which parallels the NCAA's March Madness. By Easter, they will have a new champion hymn!

PRESBYTERIAN MEETS LUTHERAN IN HARTLAND
Matthew Lee is a Lutheran Pastor at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian in Hartland. He graciously agreed to an interview exploring the experience of leading a Presbyterian congregation while coming from the Lutheran tradition.

Several members of the Presbytery of Milwaukee attended the recent NEXT Church conference in Kansas City on March 13-15, 2017. They were challenged and inspired by the worship, panels, and speakers, and highly encourage you to check it out online. DNSIB MEETING AT IMMANUEL PRESBYTERIAN

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN'S SPRING GATHERING
The Presbytery of Milwaukee's PW Spring Gathering will be held on May 6, 2017. Join us for food, fellowship, worship. The main speaker will be  Jerrett Luckett, Executive Director, Milwaukee Mission, the topic being "Exploit No More":  to rescue and restore girls from sex trafficking.  Cathy Manthei will be speaking on "Slavery in 2017". PANCAKE BREAKFAST
The Greenfield Avenue pancake breakfast is coming up on Saturday, April 8. The hours will be from 7:30a.m. - 11:00a.m. We feature all you can eat pancakes, with many toppings, applesauce, sausages, and juice, coffee, tea or milk. The price is very reasonable at $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12. Everyone is welcome so bring your family and friends and join us.
ORGAN CONCERT
We are having an organ concert at Greenfield Avenue Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 2, at  2:00p.m.  The public is welcome.  Our Organist and Minister of Music, Sheri Masiakowski, is the headliner with guests Mary Radspinner on harp and Aaron Michael Zauner on cello.  This will be a wonderful event filled with incredibly beautiful music. CALVARY CHURCH TAIZE PRAYER SERVICES
Calvary Church will hold Taize prayer services on March 22 and April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Taize prayers incorporate singing, chanting, prayers of intercession, and a brief scripture reading punctuated with moments of silence. If you are looking for a way to re-center and re-focus your life, you might give Taize prayers a try. And, if you are interested in singing or playing an instrument for the either or both services, please contact the church office.
