Dear St. John Paul II Families,
I hope everyone has had a great week, the weeks seem to be speeding by as we begin the 4th quarter. I would like to say a special "thank you" to our families on Brimhurst for your help with walkers in the afternoons. We've noticed the improvement, and we will continue to monitor our afternoon dismissal process.
We will begin
IOWA and CogAT
testing next week. Students in 1st – 8th grade will be taking these assessment tests April 3-11, so our campus will be closed to outside visitors during this time.
Please make every effort to have your child/ren to school on time each day, and be sure that they get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast. These nationally-normed assessments provide us with data that helps us analyze individual student progress, evaluate our overall curriculum and create goals for continuous improvement. So we thank you for making them a priority for your family.
Plans are in full swing for our community's biggest event, the Saints @ Sunset Crawfish Boil on April 7th! I've heard rave reviews about BB's Cafe, so I'm excited to have them on campus. Believe it or not, over 500 tickets have already been sold, so you don't want to miss out on the fun. Tickets won't be sold at the door, so be sure to buy your family's tickets online before April 3rd.
Have a blessed week,

Tuition Raffle - Sales end April 4th
The final family commitment fundraiser for the 2016/17 school year is the Tuition Raffle. The raffle prize is one free year of tuition for the oldest child in your family for the 2017-2018 school year! The drawing will be held during the Crawfish Boil on
Friday, April 7
. Tuition raffle tickets are sold only to StJPII families at a price of $25 each. Your tuition raffle purchase is credited dollar-for-dollar toward your 2016-2017 family commitment, so this is more fun than just paying off that balance! A statement of your family commitment account was recently emailed to you.
Raffle tickets are available by clicking on the “Tuition Raffle Ticket” button on our website.
Please print and complete as many tickets as you need, and turn your tickets with payment in to the school office in an envelope labeled “Raffle”. Please make your checks payable to StJPII and write your family ID number on your check.
In order to properly account for family commitment, raffle tickets must be received in the office by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4
.
No exceptions will be made.
A REQUEST FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE: Please cut your tickets into single tickets and do not staple tickets together. Also, it would be very helpful if you would write your tuition raffle payment for the complete amount of your family commitment balance due – even if it is not an amount that is divisible by $25.00. For example, if your balance is $105.75, you could write your check for that exact amount and include four raffle tickets. This will clear your account balance and save you from having to send the final amount in a separate check. Thank you for your help!
