Dear St. John Paul II Families,

I hope everyone has had a great week, the weeks seem to be speeding by as we begin the 4th quarter.  I would like to say a special "thank you" to our families on Brimhurst for your help with walkers in the afternoons.  We've noticed the improvement, and we will continue to monitor our afternoon dismissal process.

We will begin  IOWA and CogAT testing next week. Students in 1st – 8th grade will be taking these assessment tests April 3-11, so our campus will be closed to outside visitors during this time. Please make every effort to have your child/ren to school on time each day, and be sure that they get plenty of sleep and eat a good breakfast. These nationally-normed assessments provide us with data that helps us analyze individual student progress, evaluate our overall curriculum and create goals for continuous improvement. So we thank you for making them a priority for your family.

Plans are in full swing for our community's biggest event, the Saints @ Sunset Crawfish Boil on April 7th!  I've heard rave reviews about BB's Cafe, so I'm excited to have them on campus.  Believe it or not, over 500 tickets have already been sold, so you don't want to miss out on the fun. Tickets won't be sold at the door, so be sure to buy your family's tickets online before April 3rd.

Have a blessed week,
