We exist...
TO BUILD NEW LIVES FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH HOUSING AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH.
How we do it...
1. Housing
2. C ommunity
Outreach
3. Awareness
Why do we do it...
For homeless teens like Tiffany from DreamCatcher...
"It wasn't like a shelter, it was a house and the people there weren't staff, or they didn't seem like staff, they were wonderful.  I hadn't had much of a family but I knew that this is what it was supposed to be like."

Everyone can play a part in ending homelessness - you can provide a meal at a shelter, assemble Care Kits, volunteer for a Care Day to paint a shelter, donate materials to one of our shelter "builds" or make a donation to HomeAid.
Contact us today to   see how you can help!
1. Housing... for all

Building housing is the core of what we do at HomeAid:
  1. Oma Village provides 14 formerly homeless working families a beautiful new apartment to call home.
  2. DreamCatcher will be completed next month and will provide 16 beds for homeless youth and sexually exploited minors.
  3. Alternatives in Action Early Childhood Education Center will be completed mid-year.
  4. Les Marquis Shelter remodel will provide for a better environment for homeless families.
  5. Claire's House will also be completed this year as a safe house for exploited girls.
2. Community Outreach...640 Care Kits
The BIA Bay Area Sales & Marketing Council organized a "Giving Month" and assembled 640 Care Kits filled with essentials for homeless teens at DreamCatcher and homeless families at Shelter, Inc.

3. Raising awareness... with Recovery Cafe
With the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area, HomeAid   ho sted "Building  Hope 2017" to raise critically needed funds to help the homeless in the South Bay through Recovery Cafe San Jose.  And with the help of Irvine Company and Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation, HomeAid remodeled the commercial pantry.
