QUALITY FOODS FOUNDERS TO STEP AWAY:
After thirty-Five years of building their grocery business from a single store
in Qualicum Beach to thirteen award-winning Vancouver Island supermarkets, Ken Schley and John Briuolo announced last Friday that
their interests will be transferred to their strategic partner of eight years, Mr. Jim Pattison, who has stated clearly that "business will continue as it has".
In the short term, the founding partners will do their part to ensure a smooth transition, with Ken and John remaining on as principle landlords of several QF properties. We wish Ken and John all the very best going forward and thank them for their generous support over the past decades.
