Parent Opportunities to Provide Input on Hiring a New Principal
The PTSA board wants to make sure you have an opportunity to provide input into this process. There are now two meetings where input will be collected:
  • Monday, March 13th, 12:30-2:05 PM, ICS Lyceum Sue Anne Sullivan, District Support Supervisor from the Redmond Learning Community, will be at ICS to meet with parents to discuss areas of strength, opportunities for growth and leadership characteristics for the new principal.
  • Tuesday, March 14th, 6:00-8:30 PM, LWRC The PTSA Board will host a workshop to identify key values that the parents want to see reflected in the selection process. We'll break into groups and answer the following questions:
    • What does this school do well?
    • What could this school do better?
    • What should this school be focused on?
    • What qualities do we need in a principal?
    • Any other thoughts?
This workshop will take the place of our regularly scheduled principal chat and parent meeting (we will still have some standard agenda items for the first half hour, including the principal's report).

Talent Show
Key club is hosting its annual talent show on Friday, April 14th from 7-9pm in the ICS lyceum. There is a $5 suggested donation, and all proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Children's Cancer Program. Please come and see your child or his/her peers preform on stage in this fun event. Snacks and drinks will be provided with a suggested donation.

It is very important that the attached forms get completed and signed by both the parent and student's physician where applicable, and returned to our school office, no later than Tuesday, May 2nd
