Hi Friends!

I look forward to being with all of you this Sunday, although with very mixed emotions as I approach my last time in the pulpit (at least in the official capacity as Outreach Pastor). I am so grateful to so many of you who have shared your encouragement, appreciation and love.  Jesus gives us the command to "love one another," and I have certainly felt that from all of you.

As I approach this week's sermon - the last in our three-part Advent series "Abide: Faith, Hope & Love" - the beautiful words of   "O Holy Night" have been ringing in my ears: Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace.  If we want to know how to love one another, we need to look at the love that sent Jesus into the world.  This Sunday, I'll be preaching about this life-changing, world-changing love found in John 3:16-17. If you missed Pastor Jeff's sermon on hope last week, you can watch it here!
