Weight Watchers' New Location at
189 Devonshire Street

Weight Watchers has a new downtown Boston location at 189 Devonshire St., and people already started losing weight at the first class on March 16th.

"There's no better program to lose weight and get healthy. We teach you how to eat healthy," said Arlene Lewis, Coach/Leader, above left. "At meetings people talk about the healthy meals they cooked, share what they eat, talk about how they ate a sleeve of Oreo cookies or four bagels."

"We talk about their week and what went well, including things in their life like visiting family. It's about community, the leaders and the meeting," said Ashley Poliseno, Territory Manager, above right.

Weight Watchers operates on a point system that educates people about how many "points" they can eat based upon their age, height and gender. Foods are assigned certain point levels so you can still eat things you enjoy, but limit yourself.

Weight Watchers also has products like cookbooks, nutritional bars, shakes and more that can help clients.

Weight Watchers also offers numerous modern technological conveniences to help customers, including a 24/7 click-to-chat online portal to talk to coaches anytime of the day and night, and an app that scans the nutritional value of items at the supermarket so you know how many points they represent.

Click here for more info and a class schedule at the Devonshire Street location. You can also email Ashley Poliseno at [email protected] for more info and questions.
