Reminder - deal on Corison Cabernet good until end of day!!
Last week, we met with the importer, Henri Colcombet.  The subject was actually Champagne, and we purchased a bunch. Virtually as an afterthought he asked if we had interest in Rose. He poured us the new release ( 2015) of Domaine  La Croix. Simply put, this is my favorite Rose of the last few years. The La Croix is classically Provence in style consequently crisp and dry. The flavor profile is cherry and strawberry patch. The flavors are electric and fresh. There is just enough backbone to address BBQ ribs and brisket. This is a Rose of extreme quality and complexity. Please take a look at the blend below. I am a bit prejudice admittedly, Cinsault and Mourvedre are two of my favorite varietals with which to blend Rose but those grapes are delicate and expensive meaning we seldom see them used in wines of a daily drinking cost. The Cabernet is where the backbone comes from. This wine is on the way from New York now. It arrives in Dallas at the end of this week. It is slated for on premise (restaurant ) only.

We sold out of the 5 cases which I procured for Rose fans and Classic CafĂ© rather quickly.  Just got of the phone with the distributor and he is allocating us 7 more cases. The cost is $21.95,  5% off 6, 10% off 12

I highly recommend this purchase.  The best,  Rex

P.S. This is the same Classe' as Domaine Ott. I think it is better than Domaine Ott which is now $50-$70 per bottle for Rose!  Technical sheet below.
