FREE Parks Canada Passes and Permits for 2017

For all of 2017 individuals have the opportunity to order the Parks Canada Pass and Permits. This pass gives you unlimited opportunities to enjoy National Parks, National Marine Conservation Areas and National Historic Sites across the country!

Please note:

You only need to order one pass for your group or family if you are all travelling together. A 2017 Discovery Pass is valid for everyone arriving in the same vehicle at a national park, or arriving together at a marine conservation area or historic site.
The Discovery Pass is only accepted at national historic sites which are operated by Parks Canada
Activities such as tours or parking that normally carry a separate fee may not be covered by the Discovery Pass
Camping fees are not included with the Discovery Pass
Validity Period: January 1st 2017 to December 31st 2017
Display: The 2017 Discovery Pass must be hung from the rear view mirror of the vehicle facing forward or it can be placed on the front driver side dashboard facing up.

Interpreter Training Course - Spring 2017

Our Interpreter training for new interpreters consists of over 90 hours of in-depth practical and theoretical training in community interpreting, with an emphasis on health, immigration, law, education and social services. The training is delivered by well qualified trainee and the guideline is based on the curriculum of the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration. Please note this training is only for language interpretation, not a written translation. All classes are in our office in Mississauga; two evenings (6pm to 9pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also on Saturdays from 9am till 5pm.

As pre-requirement assessment, prior signing up, every participant has to take Language Proficiency Test. The test has been developed and approved by the Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration to evaluate an interpreter's language and interpretation skills. This assessment is a dual -language tool to test your language fluency in English and your other language. The Language Proficiency Test price is $160.00 plus tax.
