United Way Says "Thank You for Lending a Helping Hand!"

Our Annual Day of Thanks was held on Tuesday, February 28th. This year we said, "Thank You for Lending a Helping Hand!" to individuals, organizations and companies for their overall dedication to bettering our community by supporting United Way's campaign.

"Our hearts are full of thanks every day, as we see countless stories of people investing in our community through United Way," said United Way Executive Director Brenda Episcopo. "Some take a lead investment with a large gift to help many, while others give generously what they can - even when they are in need themselves. This day of thanks is dedicated to those individuals, companies, and community groups that Live United. From our Young Leaders United to our longest time givers... We thank you!"

Every year, United Way staff, board of directors and volunteers put fundraising efforts on pause to participate in a multi-pronged push to say, "thank you" to as many people as possible with phone calls, emails, postcards, and personal visits to companies and organizations involved in the 2016 Workplace Campaigns.
Rain or shine we MARCHED UNITED
in this year's Utica St. Patrick's Day Parade!
