Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony 
N ew Campus Life Center and Gym - May 4


We are excited to announce that the new Campus Life Center & Gym will be completed over the next month. On May 4, we are pleased to invite all school families, students and supporters to the Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony where we will dedicate this new building to the Lord. The event will kick off with coffee and fellowship at 8 a.m. followed by the ceremony at 8:30 a.m. and tours beginning at 9 a.m. We would love to see you there!

Nick Hanson ('11) and his wife Stephanie are campus missionaries with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. They are making preparations to lead a team of college students overseas to Moldova. They will work with local missionaries to connect with college students and train young leaders in how to make disciples. Read more...

Academic Excellence
Elementary and MS Students Compete in Area Math Olympics



Fourteen students in grades 3-5 and seven in grades 6-8 participated in the area math competition with each student placing. Students qualified for this event by scoring in the top range in the entire six-state region. Click here for the list of elementary winners and here for the list of middle school winners. Science Fair
  Eighth grade students communicated the findings of their experiments to scientific professionals at the regional level, and each of them did an exceptional job. "They put their hearts and souls into these projects," said CCS science teacher Robyn Cloutier, "and honored God through all of their hard work and study." Chrome Books and Senior Research 
 
 
Seniors selected a topic for a research argument essay based on their personal preference. Using the Chromebooks allows students flexibility and convenience in identifying sources as they begin the process for this research assignment.
Biblical Values
NJHS Packs Meals for "Feed My Starving Children"
 
 

Seventh and eighth grade students in the National Junior Honor Society worked at Bayou City Fellowship Church to package meals to be sent to areas all around the world where food is scarce.  Read more..

Peanuts Characters Delight Spring Musical Audiences

Ensemble and Soloists Earn Top Ratings at HBU and Sing for Avalon Memory Care Residents


Choir members are enjoying their busy spring schedule of performances and competition. Recently, several soloists and an 11-person ensemble participated in competition at HBU. The ensemble and junior Julia Williams earned superior ratings, and several soloists earned excellent ratings. Thank you for Supporting Run-4-Fun!

What a great day for a race! Thanks to everyone who made the day a fun one. Over $47,000 has been collected so far with more donations and pledge dollars continuing to come in. Congratulations to Mrs. Leininger's class for raising the most with $4,899 and Mrs. Murrill's class for being the fastest with 9.3 laps per student. In total, 2,210 laps and 552.5 miles were run. Click here for full race results or to make one more donation to push us towards our goal to enhance the elementary playground by adding synthetic turf in place of the worn grass/mud surface.
