SEEP, AMIR host Consumer Protection Training in Rwanda
The Responsible Finance Through Local Leadership and Learning (RFL3) program focuses on the development of local capacity in Consumer Protection (CP) as one of its goals. A 3-day training session for CP assessors in Rwanda was conducted by The SEEP Network and the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR) with 25 participants. The course was designed to train local participants in carrying out consumer protection assessments within microfinance institutions using the Smart Campaign methodology.

PoWER aims to facilitate womens and girls improved access to, awareness and usage of quality financial products and services provided by diverse and sustainable service providers, in the context of more inclusive financial markets.
