A Note From Your Fourth Grade Teachers
Fourth Grade Connections
 March 2nd, 2017
Dear Fourth  Grade Families,

We hope you enjoyed last week’s break and were able to spend time out of the office, with your kids, or with your friends for a few days. The next few weeks ahead will be bringing much excitement to the fourth grade. This Friday, March 3rd, we will be headed to San Francisco’s Chinatown and returning at the end of the school day enlight of our immigration unit of study.

Next week, March 6-10th, brings about Sea Crest’s annual musical. Everyone will be participating in the performance on Thursday or Friday depending which group (A or B) your child is in. Last but not least, trimester two will be ending on March 10th with Student-led Conferences on the March 23rd and 24th. We are all excited for the month ahead as we head into our last trimester of fourth grade.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming end of second-trimester conferences on March 23rd and 24th. Please follow the link below to sign up.

Sincerely,

Your Fourth  Grade Team
Lucinda Druck and Tyler Elliott

Ask Your Child About

Talking with your child is the best way to support classroom learning. The following questions can help you get started.

  • What are the two types of Whales? What do you think about the humpback whale's singing?
  • What was the Angel Island Immigration Station?
  • What issue are you focusing on for your research essay?
