SPRING FLING WEEK KICKS OFF TONIGHT WITH IRON MAN IN THE GYM!

Spring Fling Week at Garces is always a lot of fun for everyone on our campus.  To get ready, ASB students pick a theme, make and post posters on campus, and plan the Spring Rally and Prom.  The junior and senior classes design the Iron Man and Powder Puff shirts and ask their dates to Prom.  And everyone on campus is getting their outfits ready for the dress up days. Please encourage your student to dress up next week - it's great to see everyone participate and makes for a spirited atmosphere on our campus! Parents are welcome to come and join us at Iron Man, Powder Puff, and the Spring Rally.

Director of Student Activities

Dear Parents,

Spring Fling Week is a circus theme this year and we have lots planned!  Iron Man is tonight in the gym at 7:30 and we are hoping for a full house.  There is no cost to attend and the juniors and seniors would love to play in front of a large crowd. Mr. Mark Brown will be our play by play commentator and he always makes it more fun for everyone involved.  Last year the senior class won as juniors and they are hoping for back to back victories!

Monday kicks off our dress up days with Strong Man attire (work out clothing - no yoga pants); Tuesday is Animals and Tamers (circus animals and entertainment acts like animal tamers, clowns (no masks), ring masters, etc.);  Wednesday is regular Formal Dress Day for Mass; Thursday is Cotton Candy (blue or pink clothing - Junior Girls are wearing pink for Powder Puff and Senior Girls are wearing blue for Powder Puff and students are encouraged to wear the color of the class they are supporting in the game); Friday is Siamese Twin (students pick someone and dress alike).  Spirit Dress Attire guidelines apply to all of the dress up days.

The Powder Puff game is Thursday at 7:00 PM on Sam Tobias Field.  Mr. Gino Lacava will once again call the game from the Press Box. There is no cost to attend.  Students who are playing must have their waiver turned in by Monday at noon.

Beginning Monday, Prom bids are $65 and can be purchased at break and lunch through Friday.  Guest forms are due March 29th by noon.  Prom will be on the Garces tennis courts and the entrance will be by the softball field off the lower parking lot.
