How to Register:

1) Please confirm your player(s) are on the invited/qualified player list, found at this link.  If you are not on the list, but certain that you have qualified based on an event within the last few days, we've probably just not updated the list yet (usually we can't update until Thursday after a weekend event).  In that case, it's easier for us if you wait until the lists are updated.  If absolutely necessary, though (i.e., if you're leaving the country until after the deadline, or need to meet the early registration deadline), you can register and just note in the comment box why and how you anticipate qualifying.  You can always contact us with questions.  oscf@oscf.org.

2) Please review the 2017 details and rules.

3) Please gather your player information.   For each player, you will need name, school, grade, the player's 8-digit NWSRS ID and NWSRS rating (which can be found by looking under the players' last name at this link), and (for all Platinum (Elite) sections as well as the Silver Middle School (>1050) and High School (>1100) sections) USCF ID and current membership information (look up the player here, or register for a USCF membership here).  (Why USCF membership?  Click here.)

Important for 2017 - AP/IB exams: Because the tournament is later this year, there may be some conflicts with AP or IB exams for high school players.  Please check and see if your player is scheduled to take an AP or IB exam on Friday, May 5th and let us know about that on the registration form.

4) Payment?  Note that for ease of our all-volunteer organizers, we are requiring all registration and payment to be done online.  If that's not possible for you, please contact Jeff Dobbins at sjdprods@dslnorthwest.net before you start the process, to arrange direct payment.  Note also that we are offering sibling discounts; read the registration page instructions carefully to the end to find out how (see the text before the comment box).

5) Registering several players?  If you are registering several players, note that Constant Contact will log you out of your registration after approximately 15 minutes on the registration page (say 10 minutes to be safe).  So please be sure to gather the above information FIRST (ideally in a document from which you can cut and paste), and then proceed through registration for your players quickly after that.  Because of this limitation, we limit registration to 8 players per email address; if you think you're faster than that we can specificially lift the limit for you, but call or email us first.  Please contact us at oscf@oscf.org.

6) How will I know if I'm registered?  If you successfully register, you WILL receive a "congratulations" screen and an email confirming registration WITH your player information included.  If you DO NOT receive the email, or if it does not have player information included, you have not successfully registered your player(s).  Please contact us at oscf@oscf.org if you don't see the confirming screen and email.

7) Ready?  Good.  Click the "register Now" button below, complete the forms, and we'll see you in Seaside!
