Students in Woodburn SD doing STEM in Afterschool, thanks to 21CCLC! Almost 15,000 students are being served through 21CCLC funds in our state in the 2016-17 school year.
Policy Updates
Now more than ever it is important for all of us to tell our legislators why afterschool matters to us. We invite you to join us in reaching out to our local and national representatives to share the stories of how afterschool makes a difference for youth and their communities.

OregonASK will be sending out policy updates every Friday this spring, to keep you all aware of changes and happenings on the state and national level.
Afterschool Alliance Letter

Thank you for joining us in the fight to preserve afterschool funding! With the President's "skinny budget" proposing the elimination of afterschool funding for 1.6 million students, and House and Senate Appropriations subcommittees beginning the FY18 spending process, we are asking for your support of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative. Please see the Afterschool Alliance's organizational sign-on letter (at the link below) calling for at least current funding of $1.16 billion for 21st CCLC within the FY18 House and Senate spending bills. Let's make sure Oregon is well represented!

Local, state and national  organizations are invited to sign-on by March 30. CLICK HERE to sign-on .
