SR Pre-service Training Compliance Deadline is March 31, 2017
Dear SR Providers:
This is a reminder about the upcoming deadline for compliance with the new School Readiness pre-service training requirement as part of the new School Readiness Health and Safety standards. Please read the important information below.
Pre-service Training Requirements
*Must be in compliance by March 31, 2017
*All program personnel, volunteers (10 or more hours per month) and substitutes must successfully complete one of the sets of pre-service training coursework within 90 days of initial employment with any provider participating in the school readiness program
*As of April 1, 2017, anyone in their 90-day window who has not completed his or her pre-service training requirements would need to be supervised by someone who has already completed training
*After the 90-day window, staff would be ineligible to be in the classroom until they have completed training, regardless of whether or not they are supervised.
