APRIL IS A WONDERFUL TIME FOR YOU TO VISIT LONGMONT!
The month of April gives us so many reasons to celebrate...the song of birds, the crisp, clean smell of fresh air and the buds on flowers and trees. There is a wealth of promise wrapped up in these post-winter days.

If you have promised yourself to lead a simpler, more authentic life, make plans now to attend the Countryside Homesteading Workshop to be held April 1 at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The event continues on Sunday, April 2 with a cheesemaking contest and creamery tours at Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy.

On Friday, April 14, visit the Downtown Longmont Creative District for 2nd Friday. Featuring gallery openings, restaurant promotions and themed activities occurring throughout the district. Join the excitement and visit downtown to see what's new!

Centennial State Ballet will perform "Giselle" , the 2016-17 season closer on April 22 and 23 at Niwot High School. This two-act, romantic ballet follows the life of Giselle, a peasant girl who falls in love with a prince and dies of a broken heart.  With a moving score by Adolphe Adam, Stephanie Tuley's choreography will send your heart soaring.

Longmont has lots of exciting things happening throughout the month, in addition to these events. Check out our Events Calendar for more information along with the featured attraction and events below.

All the best,
