Spring Break at PES is the week of March 27 - 31. School resumes on Monday, April 3. I hope all families have a safe & peaceful break and get a chance to recharge.

Learning Doesn't Stop Over Spring Break!
As I know I have mentioned before, learning does not stop when a child leaves the classroom, and spring break is the perfect time to create unique learning opportunities for children.
The Extracurricular Activity Calendar for April is online now! You can find the calendar by going to the Pleasantdale Website, clicking on Middle and then
Activities.
There is an option to print the calendar at the top of the calendar itself and the printed view allows you to see all activities for the month if you change the font to small in settings.

Registration for Summer Academy 2017 Extended!
This summer District 107 is excited to offer students currently in grades PreK - 7 the opportunity to take summer enrichment classes to further their learning in new and exciting ways! Summer Academy classes will be held Monday - Friday from June 12 - July 7 (no class July 3 or 4 in observance of Independence Day) with classes offered from 8:30 - 11:45 AM.
Registration for enrichment classes has been extended through April 7th!

After receiving a lot of positive feedback from the Pleasantdale School Community, we've decided to begin taking the first steps in forming a PTO, which includes adopting bylaws.
