The Women's Engineering Society (WES) is proud to launch here the Resource Pack for
International Women in Engineering Day on 23 June 2017: your guide to the celebration and how to get involved.
In 2016 we were delighted to see so many organisations, companies and people take part. This year we aim to build on that success and to make the day even more widely celebrated around the world. With your help and commitment, we hope to bring INWED17 to massive audiences, within the UK and internationally, from classrooms to board rooms - celebrating the present, and inspiring the coming generations of women engineers.
The International Women in Engineering Day is co-ordinated by the Women's Engineering Society. For its fourth year, Sarah Yates has joined our team to lead the INWED project.
We are greatly indebted to our Sponsors who took a stance for equality and diversity, and who provide invaluable support as our partners for INWED17.
If you want to wear your passion on your sleeve, our EngiWear online store delivers INWED17 tank tops and T-shirts to celebrate in style.
We are now working on additional materials to help you organise and promote your events. Please check our website over the coming months for tools and tips.
We are grateful to our INWED17 Sponsors for their commitment to highlight the roles of women in engineering. Learn more about them on our website.
