Pot Luck Shabbat, Torah and Prayer Service, This Friday!
We had a great turn out and Ruach at our first pot luck Shabbat in January. There have been many requests to repeat this at our next three Torah Shabbat services. So once again, we will be having a community vegetarian pot luck dinner at 6:30 before our worship service. Then please stay and
support David Abraham as he chants from the Torah during our regular Shabbat service, starting at 7:30 pm. Please let us know if you are planning on attending and what you will bring:
ritual@templebnaichaim.org.
This service will also include special readings, prayers and a sermon for National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice. (See next article.)

National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice
TBC is proud to participate in the National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice.
 During the Weekend of Prayer (March 24th-March 26th) faith communities across the country will honor the beauty of every person's spirit and will recommit ourselves to pursuing justice for people of all gender identities. Our Shabbat service on March 24th will include readings, prayers, and a sermon that speak to both our congregation's fundamental belief that all people are created in the image of God as well as our commitment to working toward a world where all people are treated with respect and dignity.

TBC Strategic Plan Update
From TBC President Cindy Baulsir: Many thanks to all who completed the congregational survey in support of our strategic planning effort. We had a strong response from households where participants were representative of the demographics of our congregation. Results will be shared with the congregation as part of the final Strategic Plan.
In the meantime, the Strategic Planning Team will work with our external consultant to begin using these results as the basis for understanding our core values, priorities and how to best meet those priorities. Over the next few months, the Team will continue to refine the direction, meet with the Board and present the vision to the congregation at the congregational meeting in May.

Religious School Social Action!
The Religious School Social Action project is building benches for the Carver Center's basketball court! At the Purim Carnival students painted benches casting their vote for the color. While painting, they considered what they could do or say if they saw someone at lunch or recess sitting alone. Photos are posted
