Event seeks to create collaborative community 

LACOE's first-ever countywide special education symposium on March 9 received an enthusiastic response. The goal was to give special educators the chance to collaborate across districts to improve outcomes for students of all abilities.

A boost for girls in STEM

Green Ribbon Schools
Two local districts nominated 
for green award

The Culver City and Redondo Beach school districts have been nominated to compete in the U.S. Department of Education's Green Ribbon Schools recognition program, which honors schools that conserve resources while promoting health and environmental literacy.
