I'm Worried ... Now What?

Have you ever worried about a child's development or wondered how to talk to parents about your concerns? 
Do you have questions about caring for a child with special needs?  WarmLine will provide information and strategies to help you find the answers.

This workshop is open to both parents and professionals. Light meal provided.

Take a Minute with Your Child

Play with your child, it will help the two of you build a warm and loving relationship, supports the development of social skills (like sharing and turn taking), language skills (like labeling objects, making requests, commenting), and thinking skills (like problem-solving) and it's fun!

Plans are under way to offer more all-age activities for WarmLine families starting in May. We'd love to hear your ideas for activities which would be suitable for children with specials needs from birth to 20-ish years old! Email us at warmline@warmlinefrc.org.
Applicants Sought for Nor Cal LEND Program
The UC Davis MIND Institute is recruiting applicants for the LEND program which includes graduate level, interdisciplinary training related to autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Any graduate-level students, postgraduate professionals, family members or self-advocates are encouraged to apply. The program will begin July 1, 2017 and continue until June 30, 2018 for the next cohort of trainees. Click here for more details.  (Download Brochure)
