The following sessions are scheduled for April. Click on the individual link to learn more and sign up for the workshop:

This session is full of specific tools and tactics to get the most out of commonly used social media platforms. Join us and learn how to make best use of your social media presence, how to judge your success, and what pitfalls to avoid.
Thursday, April 12, 12 noon - 2 pm

Building on concepts and tools contained in our Basics workshop, this session will more deeply explore the elements of successful proposals, including the role of grants in long-term sustainability. You'll leave with a solid understanding of what goes into a competitive proposal that, combined with appropriate match with funder interest, may lead to grantseeking success.
Wednesday, April 19, 9 am - 12 noon

Spin-a-thon Raises Money for Scholarship

Two years ago, Erin Coonan Schmidt established a scholarship through the Foundation to be awarded annually to a graduating student-athlete from Burncoat High School. Erin and her husband, as well as their many friends, hope to promote the study of health and wellness among a new generation of young people with this Fund.

Erin's friends have remained by her side as she has coped with recurring bouts of breast cancer for more than 9 years. Recently, her best friend, Brianne Spellane, organized a Spin-a-Thon fundraiser at the Greendale YMCA to raise money for Erin and the scholarship named for her.
