Did you know that over 45 countries are represented in Abingdon's diverse student population? Don't miss out on a night of scrumptious food, fun and entertainment from around the world. Plan now to attend the Abingdon International Night Potluck on March 24 at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria!
The potluck will only be successful if everyone brings a delicious dish to share, so please make sure to complete and return the flyer from last week's Tuesday folder

We are looking for volunteers to help with this event! We need help serving food during the event and help with set up and clean up. To volunteer, please contact Rebecca Kim.
PTA Meeting - March 21 (Key Info for Kindergarten and First Grade Parents)
Join us on Tuesday night for our monthly PTA meeting, featuring a presentation on
"Schools Then and Now: How Schools Have Been Transformed by Technology." This presentation, led by Abingdon's Instructional Technology Coordinator, Kerry Abbott, will be particularly informative for kindergarten and first grade families as they move closer to second grade and introduction to the APS 1:1 iPad program. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm and will be held in the library.
As always, there will be free pizza and babysitting. We hope to see you there!
Mixed Bag Orders Due - March 22 (Last chance deadline)
Don't forget to place your Mixed Bag order by Wednesday, March 22. Orders can be made two ways:
1) Complete the paper order form that was enclosed in the packets sent home in last week's Tuesday folder; OR
Shipping is free on orders over $75 and the items will ship directly to your house. If you do this, make sure to add your child's name during checkout so that your child will receive credit for the sale.

Math and Science Night, Around the World - March 30
Mark your calendars for March 30 for Around the World Math and Science Night!
Food sales will start at 6:30 pm and profits will go to the Third Grade Team for special projects in their classrooms. The activities will begin at 7 pm. Don't miss out on this fun evening!
