Application Deadline Extended to March 31
As a Student or Resident Board Member, your voice will represent student or resident membership throughout the state. The Board meets at least three times per year at Spring Fling Conference (Jackson, MS), Annual Meeting (Sandestin, FL), Fall Meeting (TBD) and December Social (TBD).
The MAFP and MAFP Foundation provide opportunities for the future leaders of family medicine to enhance their education, make connections and gain "real world" experience. We are seeking dynamic medical students (4) and residents (4) to serve a one-year term on the Board of Directors for either the MAFP or MAFP Foundation.
Interested students and residents should complete a Board of Directors Applicationand review Campaign Rule Information.The Board of Directors Application and additional required documents must be received via mail, fax or email no later than Friday, March 31, 2017.
Elections for these board members will occur at Spring Fling Conference on Saturday, April 22. If you haven't already, please register here for Spring Fling - the event is FREE for students and residents!
