SHAPING OUR FUTURE ANALYSIS RESULTS TO BE UNVEILED AT
MAY 25TH UPSTATE REGIONAL FORUM
Thanks to a grant from the Hollingsworth Funds and support from a number of organizations including lead partner Upstate Forever as well as Ten at the Top and the Riley Institute, a consultant team has spent the last eight months developing the Shaping Our Future Regional Growth Scenario Analysis. This effort builds on previous work done in the Upstate region and provides a greater understanding of fiscal impacts and land use growth based on how we are currently growing as a region (trend) and a number of alternative scenarios that were originally identified during the 2009 Upstate Reality Check.

The results from this analysis will be presented during an Upstate Regional Forum to be held from 2:30-4:30 pm (reception to follow) on May 25th at the BMW Zentrum.

Registration for the Forum is $10. Please  click here for more details and to register.

UPSTATE ELECTED OFFICIALS MEETING AT
GSP INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ON APRIL 6TH
GSP logo Since 2010, Upstate partner organizations have hosted regular meetings of city, county, and state elected leaders from across the Upstate. The first Upstate Elected Officials Meeting of 2017 will be held on April 6th from 2:30-4 pm (reception to follow) at the GSP International Airport.

Join other elected officials to learn about the airport and its impact on the Upstate, followed by a tour of the airport including recent renovations. Then stick around for a networking reception and get to know other elected officials from across the Upstate. Special thanks to the Upstate SC Alliance for serving as the event sponsor.

This event is open to elected and appointed government officials as well as government support staff.  Please click here for more details and to register.
