All students will participate in Jump Rope for Heart during their PE classes. Please make sure your child remembers their tennis shoes and their collection envelopes (if they collected cash or checks).

Last year we raised $18,516 for the American Heart Association. This year we have already collected $3911.00 and our event has not even started yet. Please encourage your child to reach out to family and friends to sponsor them as they jump to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Have a neighbor with a child who is of the age to Kindergarten this fall? According to Maryland State Law, a child must by five years old by  September 1, 2017 in order to enter Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year. 

Kindergarten Orientation for Matsunaga will take place April 5th and April 6th. Please share this information with neighbors who have children eligible for Kindergarten in the fall and ask them to call the main office at 301-601-4350 to make arrangements to register.

The PTA Executive Committee would like to encourage our Matsunaga/Longview parents to take an active role in shaping the direction of our school.
