Mid-January already!  The holiday season just flies by in a flurry of festivity, parties, and family visits. 

Many of us have young grandchildren visiting at this time of year.  Falls, cuts, coughs, fevers and the like don't take a vacation!  Families are likely to be without local doctors, healthcare connections or appropriate facilities for the under 21s.  Learn more about the Nicklaus Childrens Hospital Palm Beach Gardens Outpatient Center in the article in this month's newsletter.  You never know when you just may need to use it.

    Nicklaus Children's Palm Beach Gardens Outpatient Center
 
Nicklaus Children's Hospital identified a need in South Florida for Pediatric Outpatient Centers to better serve the community. To enhance their service to local families they developed outpatient centers that feature select pediatric healthcare services such as urgent care and physical therapy for children up to 21 years old.

The Nicklaus Children's commitment to service convenience is here locally at the Palm Beach Gardens outpatient center featuring select pediatric services, such as:
  • Personalized and prompt care for babies, children, teens and young adults through 21 years old provided by board-certified pediatric physicians for minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Diagnostic services, including walk-in X-ray. Select locations offer MRI and ultrasound. All diagnostic services require a prescription.
  • Rehabilitation services for infants, children and teens such as physical, occupational, speech-language, and feeding and swallowing therapies-provided weekdays by appointment during standard medical office hours.
  • Subspecialty services.

And be proud!  Doctors and EMT personnel practice on a pediatric simulator bought with a $19,500 grant from the BallenIsles Charities Foundation.  It blinks, speaks, turns blue if not breathing and even retches providing invaluable hands on practice to personnel to be prepared for unexpected and often rare emergencies.

BallenIsles Sales - 2016

Not a banner year but certainly bright!  Compare this year's 80 MLS sales with 93 in 2015 and 106 in 2014. The trend is still solid even with a little over a 13% decrease in sales this past year.  Inventory has risen up to 61 properties currently on the market but this remains a very low number.  Compare the 2015 average list/sold price of $801,089/$727,054 and average market time of 84 days to 2016 average list/sold price $765,413/$748,595 and average market time of 176 days.  The market is somewhat flat but holding steady.  Its a good time to reassess your needs and perhaps make a move.  Call us!  We can make your Real Estate dreams a reality.
