In the midst of many thoughts about the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation I have wondered what it is I personally I value or cherish about our Lutheran theology and heritage. There are so many things to lift up as gifts of the Lutheran Reformation - the centrality of the Gospel, Law/Gospel theology, the catechisms, sacraments, left and right kingdoms to name a few. But what captures my heart, brings me comfort and assurance, and sustains my life and ministry is the freedom of the Gospel.

Women & Justice: One in Christ
Conversations toward a Social Statement
All ELCA members are invited to a conversation toward a new social statement on Women & Justice.
Participate as an individual or as part of a group or suggest the current church-wide study to your own small group. This modular study includes a range of topics that can be used in different combinations to meet the learning needs and interests of different groups or individuals.
The response period runs until Aug. 31, 2017.
