AF002 Surface Preparation: Building a Solid Foundation

In this program, we will view ASTM Standards to determine degrees of rusting; Understand the different methods of preparing steel and concrete for painting; Discuss surface preparation requirements based on the high-performance coatings; and reference appropriate standards from ASTM and NACE for surface preparation requirements. At the completion of the session, attendees should be able to specify appropriate surface preparation for steel and concrete.
