The Goose Rock House,  a year-round modern house from a summer-only cottage, now has new large openings, a glass railing deck, and a new screen porch from which to enjoy wonderful views to Cape Small Harbor. The black exterior (walls, windows and roof) will provide a contrast to the white interior. Construction by Corey Rattleff.

Houzz Best of Design

For the  third year in a row, and 4 of the last 5 (we won't mention 2014), DMA was awarded Best of Houzz for 2017 in the Design category, as one of the most  popular architects as ranked by the more than 40 million monthly users on Houzz.

Oxford Hills Technical School

David was invited as a guest critic and judge at his high school alma mater for the  OHTS Tech Challenge. Architect/teacher Daelynn Elizabeth, runs an amazing architecture program, and so impressed David that he felt these kids were doing the work of a college program. Congratulations to winners EAD 1, Daniel Boughter, EAD II, Kyle Parker, and EAD III, Emily Blackshaw.

On the Drawing Board

A new home for a large family, plus visiting extended family, in the woods of Brunswick includes a generous family room, outdoor space for a pool and pool house, and a game room above the garage. Designed to take advantage of the southern sun, double-thick walls and triple-glazed windows will create an energy-efficient family home.
